Harrisburg hadn't done well against Goreville recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Blackcats by a score of 10-6. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Harrisburg's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Goreville, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-5.

Coincidentally, Harrisburg and Goreville will both be playing Carmi-White County the next time they take the field. The Blackcats will host the Bulldogs at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
