Dayspring Christian Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Denver Christian Thunder 44-14. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Thunder recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Dayspring Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Hawkins Flanagan, who rushed for 104 yards and five touchdowns, and also threw for 91 yards and one TD.
