 In what's become a running theme this season, Sage Creek gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Helix Highlanders with a sharp  10-1 win. Ten seems to be a good number for Sage Creek as the  squad scooped up a  victory with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
  Kassidy King was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 11 batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. King was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base.
 In other batting news,  Lola Carson was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run.  Torii Ramirez was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 On Helix's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ta'Tiannah Wright, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 The  win (which was Sage Creek's third in a row) raised their record to 15-7. As for Helix, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record  this season.
 Sage Creek will square off against Point Loma at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Both teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Point Loma: 3.9, Sage Creek: 2) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Helix, they will head out on the road to  take on  El Capitan at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. El Capitan's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so Helix's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
