Model Secondary School for the Deaf came into Tuesday's contest having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on McLean with a sharp 27-5 win on Tuesday. That looming 27-5 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Model Secondary School for the Deaf got a massive performance out of Emma Njoku, who went 4-for-5 with four stolen bases and five runs. That's the most stolen bases Njoku has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Mirella Frijmersum-Di Pietro, who got on base in five of her four plate appearances with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base.

Model Secondary School for the Deaf always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .875. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-10. As for McLean, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
