Basketball Recap: Shiloh Comes Up Short

After flying high against Chamblee last Tuesday, Shiloh came back down to earth. The Shiloh Generals were beaten by the Arabia Mountain Rams 62-26 on Tuesday. The Generals have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Arabia Mountain found their leader in sophomore Sha'Nya Heath, who went 8-for-14 to rack up 30 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Heath's evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Angelina Billingsley, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 boards.

Shiloh's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Arabia Mountain, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Shiloh does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arabia Mountain, they are taking a road trip to face off against Woodward Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Woodward Academy will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Arabia Mountain surely won't give up without a fight.
