Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shenango). They strolled past the Western Beaver Golden Beavers with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 79-62. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while the Golden Beavers are ranked 721st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Shenango back to even at 10-10. As for Western Beaver, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Shenango wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 77-49 victory against Rochester on the 7th. As for Western Beaver, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-43 defeat against Laurel on the 7th.
