Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carthage). They secured a 58-54 W over the Henderson Lions on Tuesday. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 48-29 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Carthage's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Henderson, they moved to 5-13 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Carthage is set to square off against their familiar foe Chapel Hill at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Henderson will challenge rival Pine Tree at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
