Football Recap: Durango Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

Durango unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Montrose Red Hawks on Friday, falling 35-14. The Demons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Despite the loss, Durango still got an impressive performance from Grady Feeney, who rushed for 115 yards and one TD, and also threw for 119 yards on 11 of 24 attempts.

Looking ahead, Durango is taking a road trip to take on Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montrose, they will host Greeley West at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
