Basketball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 50-38 to the Perkins-Tryon Demons. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 357th, while the Demons are ranked 123rd).

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Perkins-Tryon, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Coming up, Cleveland will face off against Mannford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Perkins-Tryon, they will challenge Kiefer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kiefer knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Perkins-Tryon likes a good challenge.
