Flag Football Recap: Colony Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with South Anchorage + How To Watch

Colony faced South Anchorage in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Knights might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 32-13 to the Wolverines, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Knights, who until this game were averaging 14.67 points allowed.

Bri Parrent threw for 261 yards and one touchdown while picking up 13.1 yards per attempt. Avalee Clark was her top target, picking up 42 receiving yards.

This is the second loss in a row for Colony and nudges their season record down to 15-9. As for South Anchorage, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Colony has already played their next contest, a 35-13 win against North Pole on the 10th. As for South Anchorage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 51-0 victory against Service on the 10th.
