Softball Recap: Spring-Ford Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Owen J. Roberts, Spring-Ford was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Exeter Township Eagles by a score of 7-4. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Spring-Ford's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Exeter Township, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Spring-Ford will challenge Upper Perkiomen at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Exeter Township, they will be playing at home against Reading at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red KNights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.4 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
