Baseball Game Preview: Pinkerton Astros vs. Winnacunnet Warriors

The Pinkerton Astros will take on the Winnacunnet Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pinkerton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

Pinkerton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Spaulding, who was ranked seventh at the time (Pinkerton was ranked second). The Astros never let the Red Raiders get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Monday.

Pinkerton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Brasier, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Winnacunnet got the win against Manchester Memorial on Monday by a conclusive 8-2.

Pinkerton's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Winnacunnet, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Pinkerton beat Winnacunnet 8-3 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Will the Astros repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
