Soccer Recap: Buena Park Comes Up Short

After flying high against Costa Mesa last Monday, Buena Park came back down to earth. The Buena Park Coyotes lost 4-0 to the Katella Knights on Friday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Coyotes haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Buena Park's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-5. As for Katella, they pushed their record up to 6-2-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Buena Park has already played their next matchup (against Garden Grove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Katella will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Costa Mesa at 3:15 p.m. Katella is facing Costa Mesa at the right time seeing as Costa Mesa is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
