Football Recap: Port Jefferson Comes Up Short

Port Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 49-6 loss at the hands of the Shoreham-Wading River Wildcats. The contest marked the Royals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Port Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Shoreham-Wading River, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5.

Port Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shoreham-Wading River, they will face off against Mount Sinai at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
