Frankton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 42-28 to the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers. The Eagles lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in October of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 35-0 score last time.

Frankton's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Alexandria-Monroe, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Frankton will take on Blackford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Frankton is facing Blackford at the right time seeing as Blackford is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Alexandria-Monroe, they are taking a road trip to challenge Madison-Grant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Madison-Grant will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Alexandria-Monroe surely won't give up without a fight.
