Baseball Recap: Pittsburg Takes a Loss

After flying high against Freedom on Friday, Pittsburg came back down to earth. The Pirates lost 9-1 to the Heritage Patriots on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Phil Ramirez was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Pittsburg's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Heritage, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5-1.

While Pittsburg had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
