Volleyball Recap: Plainview Gets the Win

Plainview won the last time they faced Westminster Christian Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bears came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Faith Odom paced Plainview's offense, picking up nine kills. Odom got some help from Jaxson Bruce and her 12 assists. Jada Gray controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Plainview's win bumped their record up to 24-10. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

Plainview will head out to take on North Jackson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against East Limestone on the 29th.
