Baseball Recap: Hutchison Hawks vs. Bartlett Golden Bears

After flying high against Grace Christian on Saturday, Hutchison came back down to earth. The Hutchison Hawks took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bartlett Golden Bears on Saturday.

Ryan Fenton made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-1 with a home run, three RBI, and a stolen base. Another player making a difference was Cal Borland, who went 1-for-3 with a home run.

Even though they lost, Hutchison lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Hutchison dropped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bartlett, their win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3.
