            Softball Recap: Howell Highlanders vs. Petoskey Northmen        
        
		
        
        
            
 On Saturday, the Howell Highlanders made easy work of the Petoskey Northmen  and carried off  a  7-1 win.
  Emma Banfield and  Amelia Ott did most of the damage at the plate:  Banfield  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2, while  Ott  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Ava Bunting, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Howell now  has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Petoskey, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with that  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Howell will head out on the road to  challenge  Plymouth at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Petoskey, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cadillac at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
