Basketball Recap: Buhler Comes Up Short

Buhler lost against Winfield back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Buhler Crusaders took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winfield Vikings. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Buhler lost, don't look at Mitchel McDaniel. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-13 on his way to 14 points. Jacob Miller was another key player, putting up eight points and eight boards.

Buhler's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Winfield, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Buhler has already played their next contest, a 50-37 loss against Augusta on the 27th. As for Winfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-48 defeat against McPherson on the 27th.
