With a playoff win on the line, Harbor Creek rose to the challenge on Monday. They skirted past the North Catholic Trojans 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Huskies as they're now sitting on three straight.

Addison Lucas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Brooklynn Cipalla was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Harbor Creek's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for North Catholic, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.

Coming up, Harbor Creek will challenge Elizabeth Forward on Thursday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Huskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them. North Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
