Football Recap: Stagg Takes a Loss

Stagg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 18-6 to the West Wolfpack. While losing is never fun, the Delta Kings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 610th, while the Wolfpack are ranked 294th).

Stagg's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for West, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Stagg will square off against Tokay at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Delta Kings surely won't give up without a fight. As for West, they will take on Tracy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 12.2 points per game this season, so the Wolfpack's offense will have their work cut out for them.
