Recap: Fairport Red Raiders vs. Penfield Patriots
The Fairport Red Raiders had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost to Penfield on the road by a decisive 45-27 margin. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fairport in their matchups with Penfield: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Fairport still got an impressive performance from Lola Pucci, who scored 9 points.
Fairport's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Penfield, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Victor the next time they take the court. Penfield will head out to face Victor at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Fairport will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on December 12th.
