Poly strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Southwestern Sabers with a sharp 34-7 victory. The Engineers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 16 runs or more this season.

Poly's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Southwestern, they moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Poly has already played their next game, a 15-13 victory against Park School on the 24th. As for Southwestern, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Academy for College and Career Exploration at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
