It's playoff time, and St. Pius X had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Kirtland Central Broncos 3-0 on Thursday. The Sartans are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 16 straight.

Sienna Harrington paced St. Pius X's offense, picking up ten kills. Harrington got some help from Sierra Sanchez and her 20 assists. Sanchez also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Alyssa Bendinskas, each putting up three.

St. Pius X's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Kirtland Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 19-5 record.

St. Pius X wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Albuquerque Academy on the 14th. As for Kirtland Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Portales on the 14th.
