Bisbee extended their winning streak to 14 on Friday, bumping them up to 18-3. They beat the Tombstone Yellow Jackets by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Pumas, who have now won 12 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Trystan Meyer was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Miguel Encinas, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bisbee kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 14 consecutive games.

As for Tombstone, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games.

On Tombstone's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Nugen-Dorcy, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Bisbee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 22-2 victory against San Simon on the 18th. As for Tombstone, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 19-0 win against San Miguel on the 22nd.
