Basketball Recap: University Comes Up Short

University played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 83-61 to the Central Valley Bears. The Titans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-25.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Central Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University will host Gonzaga Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gonzaga Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully University likes a good challenge. As for Central Valley, they will be playing at home against Shadle Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
