Basketball Recap: Newcomers Piles Up the Points Against Middle College

Newcomers put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by the Middle College Panthers to the tune of 46-17. That looming 46-17 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Newcomers yet this season.

Newcomers' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Middle College, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Newcomers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-24 loss against Academy of American Studies on the 16th. As for Middle College, they will head out on the road to square off against Sinatra at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
