Basketball Recap: Seton Catholic Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Seton Catholic and Naches Valley squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Seton Catholic had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Naches Valley Rangers by a score of 64-61. The Cougars were up 53-35 in the third quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Seton Catholic's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32 points. As for Naches Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Seton Catholic will head out on the road to challenge Zillah at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Naches Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
