Basketball Recap: Kentucky Country Day Takes a Loss

Kentucky Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Whitefield Academy Wildcats. The Bearcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 66-57.

Kentucky Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Whitefield Academy, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.

Kentucky Country Day has already played their next game (against DeSales), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Whitefield Academy will head out to challenge North Bullitt at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in North Bullitt's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.
