Baseball Game Preview: Lamar Texans vs. Katy Tigers

The Lamar Texans will head out to challenge the Katy Tigers at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Lamar's tournament run continued when they took on Cinco Ranch on Friday. The Texans took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Katy faced off against Crosby on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with an 8-8 draw.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. Katy's tie gives them a new season record of 2-1-1.

Lamar suffered a grim 12-2 defeat to Katy when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can the Texans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
