Basketball Recap: Riverdale Ridge's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Riverdale Ridge had lost three straight headed into Thursday's contest, but Dylan Nieto didn't let it get to four. The Riverdale Ridge Ravens skirted past the Northglenn Norsemen 61-59 thanks in part to Nieto, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine assists. Those nine assists gave him a new career-high.

Northglenn's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Martin, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds. Ethan Mayle was another key player, shooting 75% from the field to rack up 14 points.

Riverdale Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Northglenn, they dropped their record down to 6-17 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

As of now, neither Riverdale Ridge nor Northglenn have any future games scheduled.
