Soccer Game Preview: Taylor vs. Culver Community

The Taylor Titans will head out to square off against the Culver Community Cavaliers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Taylor's offense. They fell 2-0 to Argos on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Culver Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Wabash.

Taylor now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Culver Community, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Everything went Taylor's way against Culver Community in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Taylor made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
