Basketball Recap: Woodstock Takes a Loss

Woodstock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-37 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave. The Wasps were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Green Wave apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Woodstock's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Woodstock will take on Leland & Gray at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Mt. St. Joseph Academy has already played their next game (against Granville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
