Basketball Recap: Kossuth Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kossuth can now relate to. They took a 64-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Choctaw County Chargers on Monday.

Kossuth's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Choctaw County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Kossuth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Choctaw County, they will challenge Yazoo County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Yazoo County comes in on 12 and Choctaw County on four.
