Lewisburg has gone 9-1 against Horn Lake recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Patriots will face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lewisburg is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Mississippi's top teams: Hernando, who was ranked 21st at the time (Lewisburg was ranked fourth). The Patriots fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The Patriots have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Lewisburg got a good showing from Brady Rodgers, who tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Rodgers has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Andrew Hendrichovsky made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Caden Nelson was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Horn Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Southaven.

Lewisburg's record now sits at 17-6. As for Horn Lake, their record is now 7-14.

Everything went Lewisburg's way against Horn Lake in their previous matchup back in March, as Lewisburg made off with a 15-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
