Volleyball Recap: Oswego East Gets the Win

Oswego East won the last time they faced Plainfield Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolves came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Oswego East never let Plainfield Central on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-18.

Tyler Vlcek paced Oswego East's offense, picking up 19 kills. Vlcek got some help from Max Coleman and his 30 assists. Nathan Thach controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Oswego East's record now sits at 12-16. As for Plainfield Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-24 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oswego East is set to challenge their familiar foe Yorkville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Plainfield Central will take on rival Joliet Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
