It was a proper cat-fight when Kennedy duked it out with San Fernando on Wednesday. The Kennedy Cougars blew past the San Fernando Tigers 3-0. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cougars yet this season.

Kennedy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept San Fernando between 19 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-19.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Manuel Martinez, who had ten digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Adan Hernandez, who had 16 digs.

The victory made it two in a row for Kennedy and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for San Fernando, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Kennedy will be taking part in a tournament against Lancaster at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for San Fernando, they will head out on the road to face off against Sylmar at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
