Basketball Recap: Poultney Comes Up Short

Poultney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 63-52 to the Grace Christian Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 68-45 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Poultney's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Grace Christian, the win (which was their ninth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Poultney will take on Arlington Memorial in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grace Christian, they will be home for the holidays to greet West Rutland at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
