Meanwhile, IDEA Edinburg College Prep strolled past Idea Academy with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 42-25.

IDEA Pharr's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for IDEA Edinburg College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

IDEA Pharr took a serious blow against IDEA Edinburg College Prep when the teams last played back in February, falling 67-8. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point IDEA Pharr was down 49-4.
