Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Tigers vs. Washington Montessori Eagles
The Trinity Christian Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They put the hurt on Washington Montessori with a sharp 81-60 win. With Trinity Christian ahead 49-25 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
It was another big night for Carter Jordan, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last 18 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Christian LoPresti, who scored 15 points.
Trinity Christian's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Washington Montessori, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Washington Montessori, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
