Recap: Providence Christian Academy Griffins vs. Tome Titans
The Providence Christian Academy Griffins suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Tome by a score of 64-62. Providence Christian Academy has struggled against Tome recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Tome got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Spencer Cain out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Cain is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. Ethan Griffith was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with four steals.
Providence Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Tome, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
Providence Christian Academy on the road again on Thursday and play against Perry Hall Christian at 4:45 p.m. on January 25th. Perry Hall Christian will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Tome will take on Fellowship of Christian Athletes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
