Spoto came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against Lennard, but Devin Freeman wouldn't allow it. The Lennard Longhorns came out on top against the Spoto Spartans by a score of 46-39 on Tuesday thanks in part to Freeman, who posted 14 points and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played.
Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jerren Rodriguez, who had 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Donovan McSwain, who earned six points and seven rebounds.
Lennard's record now sits at 3-4. As for Spoto, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-6.
Lennard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-44 loss against Chamberlain on the 11th. As for Spoto, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-48 victory against Tampa Bay Tech on the 11th.
