Northern Guilford came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Northwest Guilford Vikings by a score of 62-52. This was a revenge game for the Nighthawks: when they faced off against the Vikings back in December of 2024, they had to take a 52-48 loss.

Northern Guilford has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.1 points per game. As for Northwest Guilford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.
