Softball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Jefferson's offense. They came up short against the Lincolnview Lancers on Thursday, falling 8-0. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost four in a row.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Lincolnview, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Jefferson will take on Ottawa-Glandorf at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Lincolnview, they will challenge Wayne Trace at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
