With a playoff win on the line, St. Paul's Episcopal rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Briarwood Christian Lions, sneaking past 6-5. The win was familiar territory for the Saints, who have now won six contests in a row.

John Stowers was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Tate Johnston, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

St. Paul's Episcopal's victory bumped their record up to 22-9-1. As for Briarwood Christian, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-15.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lions beat St. Paul's Episcopal by a score of 12-8 later that day.
