Volleyball Game Preview: Leland Panthers vs. Earlville Red Raiders

Leland is 1-9 against Earlville since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Panthers will square off against the Red Raiders at 4:00 p.m.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Tuesday. Leland fell 2-0 to Gardner-South Wilmington.

While Leland was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Earlville was able to grind out a solid win over Illinois Math & Science Academy on Friday, taking the game 2-0.

Leland now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Earlville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season.
