Triad Baptist Christian Academy won the last time they faced Asheboro Hybrid Academy and Macey Allen did her part to make sure it happened again. The Titans strolled past the Warriors with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 58-41 with plenty of help from Allen, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and 13 rebounds. Triad Baptist Christian Academy is undefeated when Allen posts ten or more boards, but 0-3 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Lexi Bowden, who posted two points in addition to ten rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Despite the defeat, Asheboro Hybrid Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ellie Kesler shot 60% from the field to rack up 13 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadence Voncannon, who earned five points and eight boards.

Triad Baptist Christian Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Asheboro Hybrid Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-5.

Triad Baptist Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-43 victory against Surry HomeSchool on the 2nd. As for Asheboro Hybrid Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-45 win against New Manna Christian on the 2nd.
