The Chargers were the clear victors by a 14-6 margin over the Tigers on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won five matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Almira-Coulee-Hartline fell victim to Lakeside and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mary Walker is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, Almira-Coulee-Hartline fell to 9-1.
