Ridgeview is 8-2 against Ponte Vedra since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Sharks at 7:00 p.m. Ridgeview will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Ridgeview is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Providence School with a sharp 17-2 victory on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Panthers with their most commanding win of the season.

Saige Bialek was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Ridgeview got a massive performance out of Danica McLelland, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave McLelland a new career-high. Emma Lundy was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Ridgeview hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Providence School struck out eight times.
Meanwhile, Ponte Vedra gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged out Fleming Island 9-8.
The team relied heavily on Carley Clarkson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Camryn Straub, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
Ridgeview's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Ponte Vedra, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
Everything went Ridgeview's way against Ponte Vedra in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Ridgeview made off with a 13-4 win. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Sharks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
